Girl Meets Paper, Jane Graham

If we met face-to-face rather than screen-to-screen, I’d hug you and smile my hello.

I’d ask you about the corner of the world that you call home, and wonder about your family, your calling, and whether you’ve opened your heart to the Jesus that changed me long ago.

And if you asked me, I’d tell you that nothing makes my spirit sing quite like sitting next to the steady ebb and flow of the ocean when my feet and my face are warmed by sand and sun.

I’d tell you that my marriage and my children have taught me more about the love of God than almost anything.

Writing helps me process my reality, and arranging this unique collection of symbols into a lyrical message is what I feel called to do.

Girl Meets Paper is where I do the work: It’s where I talk about faith, meeting God in the everyday, and where I share the moments — between sick kids and messy kitchens — where I hear Jesus speaking.

I’d be honored if you’d stay and chat … and meet me in the messy.
